The Bible Says You Can Know That You Have Eternal Life!

1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God:that Ye May Know That Ye Have Eternal Life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God"

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."  This means we all are sinners.

Romans  5:12 " Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."  This means that Adam committed the first sin and death passed upon all men and separated them from God.

Romans 6:23  "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Even though we owe God this debt, He loved us enough to give us eternal life as a free gift.  You can't buy it, work for it, got to church for it, or even be good enough for it.  Jesus paid your way to heaven by leaving His home in heaven, coming to earth, dying for your sins on the cross... He did everything needed to pay your way to heaven.

All you have to do is receive this free gift. Just admit that you are a sinner, deserving of hell, and that you realize HE shed His blood for you on the cross.

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Shall be saved"

If you will trust Jesus to take you to heaven when you die, just pray this prayer:

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and that there is a penalty for my sins. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I ask You to forgive me of my sins and take me to heaven when I die. Amen."
