Update on Dr. Klein--I was told he needed bypass surgery and will need 6-8 weeks to recuperate.
Update on my mom--they have found someone to come in 3 days a week to help with cooking and housework; pray that Mom gets over the apprehension and that her and this helper build a good friendship and that she will be a faithful helper to my mom and stepfather.

Please pray for my sister-in-law as she seeks out a living place for my mom and stepfather. They both keep falling so often now my mom has finally resigned to the truth she needs another place to live and be cared for. Pray my stepfather will also accept this transition in his life. Pray also for my brother who will most likely be involved with legal and financial matters related to this decision and probably the sale of Mom's home.

Facing The Trials Of Life Submitted by: Clarence
As I was spending my quiet time in prayer this morning, I began thinking of how my attitude has been during all these snowstorms and it seemed the Holy Spirit was gently saying that God is trying to use these weather-related storms to teach me how to have a better attitude in the other storms and trials of life than I often do. Of all the areas of my spiritual life I am most anemic and need work on, it is how I respond to trials and tests of my faith. In only 10 weeks I hope to retire, and when I do things will change for me in a lot of ways. I pray now that I will allow the Holy Spirit to do the work He needs to do in my life to strengthen my faith and decrease my quick, negative responses to trials and tests. Pray for me about this!
